Problem description

A security issue in the Adobe Flash Player running in Opera on Linux, Solaris or FreeBSD has been found. Details about the vulnerability will be disclosed at a later date.

Affected systems

Linux, Solaris and FreeBSD systems with the Opera Web browser and the Adobe Flash Player plug-in installed. Earlier versions of Macromedia Flash are also vulnerable.

Opera’s response

Opera Software has released Opera 9.20, which avoids this vulnerability. Users should update to Opera 9.20 and Adobe Flash Player 9 to address this vulnerability. To install the latest Adobe Flash Player, please visit the Adobe download site.
